History

PseudoQuest began its life as a flash of inspiration and a bit of insomnia way back on December 22nd, 2005, and was opened up to its first non-Xaroth user on December 23rd, 2005. The limited beta started then, and was limited primarily to friends and family members.

The game saw its initial release to the public via an Open Beta launch event on May 18th, 2007. At that time, PseudoQuest had just over 200 registered users, of which approximately 20 were playing on a daily basis. At 5pm PDT on that date, an in-game launch event occurred that lasted about 4 hours, and saw some 35-40 people stop by. Following the Open Beta launch, players were encouraged to begin referring others to come play the game.

The game is currently in an Open Beta state, which means that game is to be considered mostly stable, but with improvements and new features still being added.
