From the tiny opening in the vial, you can just smell the magic seeping out. Of course, if you don't drink it quickly, it just sort of evaporates… in fact, part of the reason for its limited efficacy is that a lot of it evaporates before you can get it into your mouth.
The vials are kind of neat, though, if only for the little *pop!* sound they make when they magically disappear after you've drunk one.
